Bookworm #randomnumbers blog challenge

Blog 11: Bookworm

How many books do you own? How many library books do you have out? Any collections of authors books? How many are currently living by your bed?

I love books but lately haven’t had too much reading time. In NZ I was in two book clubs and read heaps, then during my travels I read a few books. Since moving to Sydney I’ve not read much yet, but I’ve joined another book club here and am about to finish Alice in Wonderland. Waiting for me on my bedside table are:

  • Shantaram
  • Water for Elephants
  • Breaking Dawn (from the Twilight series, but in French!)
  • Murder on the Orient Express (in Spanish)

I have a bunch of books at home in Auckland too that are waiting to be read. Bryce Courtenay is one of my favourite authors, along with George Orwell, Kurt Vonnegut, Paulo Coelho and Bram Stoker.

My shelves in NZ are also heavily stocked with recipe, travel, language, historical fiction and creativity books. I love books! 🙂

I love Bryce Courtenay too! Jessica is one of my long time faves… Did you read Shantaram?? I’ve just finished it, it was a brilliant book to read around India despite it’s backpack unfriendly weight!!!!

I have Shantaram on my bookshelf but haven’t started yet – I must!
