Seattle’s Pike Place Market

I love markets that house dinky little shops and cafes, so you can imagine my excitement when I made it to the Pike Place Markets in Seattle. You could really be there all day – I wandered around for hours checking out the flower stalls, specialized shops, craft stalls and fresh fruit and veggies.

Some of my favourite finds included honey straws, a vintage magazine store, the infamous wall of gum in Post Alley, the original Starbucks and the biggest prawns I’ve ever seen. My only complaint is the large crowds but then again it is one of Seattle’s most popular attractions, and for good reason.
