Let’s see… The New Alchemists by Charles Handy is great, and The Element by Ken Robinson which I read recently was not bad. I’m a fan of Alain de Botton’s writing.
A great recent fiction book from 2012 I will recommend is The Sister’s Brothers by Patrick deWitt. To round this out, check out the film Samsara. I saw it last night on the big screen – excellent.

I’ve got another one by Ken Robinson on my ‘to read’ pile. Love his stuff. Also enjoy Alain de Botton’s work, too. Thanks for the other recommendations, I’ll definitely check them out.
I have some fiction recommendations: Cloud Atlas, The Elegance of the Hedgehog, Gone Girl, The Sense of an Ending. All very different but enjoyed them very much.
